Materials Needed

  • Photograph or sketch of desired result (for example, a picture of you and a sketch of your desired mate or a picture of you driving or standing beside that perfect vehicle for you. Put yourself in the picture). If you do not have a photo, do AMCAManyway. Do not use the lack of a photo as an excuse to procrastinate or avoid doing your Affirmations.
  • Coloured felt pen, pencil, crayon, or pen
  • Scissors
  • Magazines or newspapers from which to cut out pictures and sketches
  • One "8.5 x 11" sheet of white or coloured paper
  • Plastic insert sleeve
  • Loose-leaf binder for Master Affirmations
  • Loose-leaf binder for fulfilled Affirmations
  • Most of all, a burning desire, faith, determination, and sense of expectancy
Let's Set the Scene for Doing Affirmations

Whether this is your very first time doing Affirmations or you have done them many times, it is important to clear your mind of negative self-talk and any upsetting thoughts you may be holding in your head.

Some people may find that a little difficult at first. They might be struggling with some stubborn, old, out-dated belief systems that need to be accessed, revised, and changed.

Note:

Use words that trigger feeling and emotion in your body.

Now you have made a firm and binding contract with your Higher Self, God, Universal Mind, or the entity in which you believe. Make your Master Affirmation colourful, because colour wakes up and excites the subconscious mind.

Master Affirmation Checklist

Is it specific, stating exactly what you desire?
Do you feel it in your body?
Is your heart and mind in agreement with your Affirmation?
Have your added the words "deserve and now have"?
Is it colourful, exciting, and interesting?

Is it designed not to hurt or take from anyone?
Is it to the good of all parties concerned?
Is there at least a 51 percent believability factor that the Affirmation can manifest?
Did you put yourself in the picture?

Did you say Thank You three times?
Is it dated?
Is your Acceptance Statement signed and witnessed?
Did you say 'yes' to the Universe?


Did you have fun?

If you answered 'yes' to the above questions, congratulations! You have just completed your first Master Affirmation in your Personal Contract Affirmation Method.

Short-Form Affirmation

Your Short-Form Affirmation consists of five or six key words taken from your Master Affirmation that are meaningful and most powerful.

After reading your Master Affirmation, jot these words down three times on a separate sheet of paper at each reading, in the morning and evening.

You can end your Short-Form Affirmation by drawing a symbol of what you are affirming.

You could use hearts when affirming for love, dollar signs for money, and happy faces for health. You may wish to write your Short-Form Affirmations on 3" x 5" cards. You can carry them in your purse, pocket, wallet, or briefcase so you can read them any time you wish. Post them in your vehicle or place them on your desk, mirror, refrigerator, or wherever you desire.
